Futures Without Fear (FWF) is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization dedicated to ending youth gun violence and supporting families and communities impacted by its devastating effects. We provide trauma-informed, community-rooted services that help individuals heal, rebuild, and pursue a future free from fear.
Born from personal tragedy, Futures Without Fear takes a holistic, preventative approach to violence—meeting families where they are, responding in moments of crisis, and walking with youth as they grow toward safety, purpose, and self-sufficiency. Our programs are designed to address the root causes and ripple effects of gun violence by removing barriers and expanding access to grief support, mentorship, skill-building, violence prevention, advocacy, and emergency resources.
All of our services are offered free of charge in a secure, supportive environment built on dignity, healing, and empowerment. Our five core programs—Healing Circle, Safe Streets Initiative, Pathways to Purpose, Family First Support Program, and Voices for Peace Advocacy—provide wraparound support for youth and families through a continuum of services, including mental health care, violence intervention, job readiness, storytelling advocacy, and emergency aid.
FWF also hosts annual community events such as Balls Up, Guns Down, Healing Hearts Holiday Celebration, and Peace on the Block, which bring people together in unity, remembrance, and prevention.
In 2025, FWF is expanding our reach through our newest initiative, Beyond the Block—a transformational program that takes youth from underserved neighborhoods on life-changing trips outside their communities, exposing them to global experiences and new possibilities.
Founded in memory of Kenn Collier Jr., a bright and beloved teen whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence, Futures Without Fear stands as a living legacy to his dreams and his fight for safer communities. Since its inception, the organization has committed itself to interrupting cycles of violence, amplifying survivor voices, and building futures rooted in safety, equity, and hope.
All services are provided to individuals and families regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or socioeconomic status. Futures Without Fear is a safe space where healing begins and purpose takes flight.

Born from tragedy. Built on purpose.
Futures Without Fear was founded in 2025 by Kenn Collier Sr. , following the devastating loss of his son,
Kenn Collier Jr. , to gun violence. Their journey began in 2017 when Kenn Jr.’s mother was also taken by gun violence. Together, father and son dedicated themselves to community work, partnering with local organizations to fight for safer neighborhoods.
After Kenn Jr.’s passing in 2025, Kenn Sr. transformed his grief into action—creating a nonprofit in his son’s memory to support families, intervene in violence, and equip youth with purpose, healing, and opportunity.
Since then, Futures Without Fear has grown into a trauma-informed, community-rooted organization offering free wraparound services in Atlanta and beyond.
To end youth gang and gun violence by providing mentorship, advocacy, and unwavering support to families and communities affected by violence.
Creating Safer Tomorrows, Today.
A world where no child grows up in fear—and every family has the resources to heal, rise, and lead change.
