What Is the Holiday Healing Brunch?
Now in our second year, the Holiday Healing Brunch: Honoring Loved Ones & Supporting Survivors is a special Christmas gathering for families who lost loved ones to violence this year.
Through a memorial tribute, a Tree of Remembrance, Family Gift Experiences, and access to grief and survivor resources, we create a safe space for families to feel seen, supported, and surrounded with love.

Join us on December 20th for a healing Christmas brunch created for families and survivors impacted by violence this year.
⏰ Time
The Holiday Healing Brunch will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring brunch, live music, healing reflections, a tribute ceremony and the Tree of Remembrance.
📍 Location
We will gather at 1400 Centre Park St. Ste 1600 , Atlanta, Ga 30331, a warm and inviting space prepared with care to provide peace, connection, and love for all families

My name is Kenn Collier Sr. Earlier this year, on January 9, 2025, my 17-year-old son was taken by gun violence. His death broke our hearts and changed my life forever. What makes this loss even more devastating is that years earlier, on his 10th birthday, his mother was also murdered. My son carried the weight of that tragedy, and now our family carries the weight of losing him too.
These losses are the reason I started Futures Without Fear—to support youth and families affected by gun violence, and to make sure no one has to walk this painful road alone.
This is our second year hosting the Holiday Healing Brunch. Last year, my son was by my side helping make this event possible. This year, he won’t be physically present—but his love, his memory, and his light are at the heart of everything we do today.
I created this brunch so families like mine can gather in a space of remembrance, comfort, and healing. A space where your loved ones are honored, your grief is respected, and your healing truly matters.”
